The AI Subscription Brain
The AI Subscription Brain is the central intelligence of Subscriberbot. It reads the Unified Relationship Graph, draws on the Subscription Knowledge Graph, and turns both into understanding, predictions, and action.
Five capabilities
| Capability | Question it answers | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Understanding | What do I have? | "Which of my subscriptions overlap?" |
| Reasoning | What can I do? | "Can I cancel one of these two tools?" |
| Prediction | What will happen? | "Which subscription will I cancel next month?" |
| Optimization | How do I do better? | "Reduce my total spend by 15%." |
| Automation | Do it for me. | "Auto-cancel unused trials." |
The AI Agents Framework
The Brain is operationalized through specialized agents, each responsible for one slice of the subscription lifecycle. Agents are composable — the Concierge can orchestrate several at once.
| Agent | Responsibility |
|---|---|
| Discovery Agent | Finds subscriptions hidden in email, payments, and accounts. |
| Renewal Agent | Tracks renewal and auto-renewal dates; flags upcoming commitments. |
| Cost Agent | Surfaces savings, duplicate spend, and downgrade opportunities. |
| Newsletter Agent | Manages newsletter volume, frequency, and low-engagement unsubscribes. |
| Vendor Agent | Maintains vendor profiles and health. |
| Compliance Agent | Watches for compliance and security risks across vendors. |
| Negotiation Agent | Prepares and assists with price negotiations. |
| Migration Agent | Helps move between providers or plans cleanly. |
Autonomous Subscription Management
With your permission, the Brain can take actions — cancel, upgrade, downgrade, pause, or renew — driven by policies you define. A policy is a simple rule:
If a subscription has been unused for 90 days and costs more than $20/month, cancel it.
Autonomy is always policy-bounded and auditable: every action is recorded as an event in the graph, and you choose how much authority to delegate.
The Digital Concierge layer
On top of the agents sits the Digital Concierge — a natural-language interface that behaves like a personal chief-of-staff. You instruct it in plain language and it coordinates the agents to carry out the work:
- "Find all subscriptions expiring next month."
- "Move me to annual plans wherever the savings are over 20%."
- "Consolidate all of my AI tools."
- "Remove newsletters with an open rate under 5%."
